What is the Nanoglass Production Process

With innovative crafts and leading science and technology, Nanoglass is adopted natural inorganic mineral rich in natural reserves such as quartz sand and feldspar as raw materials.

After screening by rake machines, the raw materials are sent to the raw material bin through the automatic belt conveyor. There are a variety of auxiliary materials inventory whose capacity meets the use of 85 days.

Conducting new blending process, combined with automatic batching system with batching accuracy 0.01 grams, matched according to raw material formula and different proportions, various raw materials are mixed evenly in the mixing machine and put on feeding belt.

Automatic broken jade ballasts are evenly put in the mixture, sent to feeding pool and then put into kiln. Adopting advanced technology for jade stone melting kiln, special high temperate materials are used to build kiln and the kiln capacity reaches ten thousand tons.

With the pure oxygen as combustion material and natural gas as fuel, the kiln temperature reaches more than 1600 degrees. The mixed raw materials are melt at high temperature in the kiln, by which drastic chemical reaction occurs and all hazardous substances and radioactive elements in raw materials are removed so as to form green and pollution free jade stone melting liquid.

Catalyzed by high temperature and high sensitivity of gas concentration, molten jade liquid forms the required crystalline solid. Under the kiln atmosphere and precise control of oxidation, the mixed materials bubble into bubble-free, inclusion-free and impurity free jade fluid and flow into spillover mouth. Up and down casting roller with a width of 3,250mm is adjusted at liberty within the scope from 6mm to 40mm according to the thickness of the required panels.

Continuous rolling makes jade fluid flowing through roller take shape by quick quenching, as a result, liquid state is turned into plastic state, which is formed to jade band between up and down roller and then brought into crystallization kiln by transfer roller.

Crystal is nucleated and crystallized in crystallization kiln so as to form reticular molecular structure with interlace and more compact crystalline cohesion. Crystalline particle reaches the level of nanometer.

Under this special technology, flawless and pore-free jade band, more rigid than natural granite in strength, with density of 2.5g/cm3 and Mohs hardness reaching above 6.5 as well as compressive strength up to 350-400Mpa, is shaped.

From quenching and retarded cooling into annealing, jade band plunges to normal temperature from high temperature in a short time with coefficient of thermal expansion of microcrystalline crystal reaching 60*10-7K and special heat-conducting property able to bear change in heat and cool of 500°C as well as bending strength more than and equal to 35Mpa, which substitutes cutting and grinding used for fabricating cambered plate and curved plate with natural stones and decreases consumption of time and materials and resource waste so as to form never-faded qualified raw sheet, whose length reaches several hundred meters. The length of raw sheet is adjusted arbitrarily according to the required size.
